Novation Launchkey is a range of 25, 49 and 61 note controller keyboards with up to 50 physical controls. It includes 16 velocity-sensitive three-colour launch pads that both trigger and stop clips and scenes in Ableton Live and allow expressive playing in the drum rack. The velocity-sensitive synth-style keyboard mechanism is accompanied by pitch and mod wheels and octave, track up/down buttons, and you can launch loops and samples with the velocity pads and also with knobs and sliders.

Launchkey includes Ableton Live Lite 9, as well as Novation Bass Station and V-Station synth plugins, and a Loopmasters sample pack. You can connect Launchkey to your iPad (you need a camera connection kit) and enjoy deep integration with the free Launchkey and Launchpad apps. The apps can transform your Launchkey hardware into a synth and loop triggering workstation for performing and producing music with your iPad. The launch pads on the hardware trigger loops in the app and you can get hands-on control of levels with Launchkey’s physical faders.
