Westone Guitars

Westone guitars and basses started in the mid 1970s when Japanese company Matsumoku who built guitars for the likes of Ephiphone, Aria and Vox, started their own brand. The instruments were made in Japan and later in Korea, and many are now collectors items as the brand ceased in 1991, to be replaced by Alvarez. Bands including Yes, Hawkwind, INXS and Modest Mouse have used Westone guitars.
