Epiphone Rivoli Bass

Lovers of this classic instrument praise its warm tone and stylish appearance - it is a semi hollow-body with f-holes. It was produced between 1959 and 1970, and there were different pickup combinations along the way, from one large single-coil, to a humbucker, and then two single coils. The Rivoli has been played by Chas Chandler of The Animals, John Entwistle and Jimmy Page, and other well known names from the 60s to the present day such as Adam Clayton of U2. Good playable models still show up from time to time in second hand shops and on eBay, and fans praise its warm tone and ease of playing.
